Zane Vinson spent 15 years building homes across West Texas before starting Sotol Homes. He started the company for a simple reason: to build homes under his own name, to his own standard, in the community where he's raising his family.
Alongside his wife, Heather, Zane built Sotol Homes around three things that don't change from project to project: quality that doesn't cut corners, a process that treats you like a neighbor instead of a transaction, and a commitment to Taylor County that goes beyond the homes themselves.
The name Sotol comes from [need confirm the real story... e.g., the sotol plant native to West Texas: hardy, low-water, built for this land. Only use this if it's actually true — don't publish a guess as fact.]
